Join us on Saturday in Girdwood at 9:55am when Katie Rowekamp kicks off the 2019 Xtreme Motor Madness, by singing the National Anthem. This is the third year Katie will be singing for us and we are thrilled to have a Girdwood local at our event. The Tork Parade will start immediately after the anthem, followed by our ever popular, cross-country race. See you all in Girdwood this weekend!!
Katie Rowekamp is 9 years old. She has been singing her whole life; since she could start talking. She won the Alaska’s Got Talent Show at the State Fair when she was 7 years old. She was a finalist in the Great Alaska Talent Show when she was 8 years old. She is passionate about singing and playing the guitar. When she is not singing she is deeply involved with the Alaska Ski Club and ski racing.
