Safety Gear is required for all 120 Racers. Chest Protection (No hockey or Soccer pads) Shin Guards, Helmet, Goggles, Boots, Gloves, and a Working Tether. Adult Racers are required to wear helmets during the race.
Iron Pup is a Team Race!!
All 120 Iron Pup Racers must Race with a Team Member who is 18 or Older!!
AMMC Iron Pup Race will immediately follow the Start of the 2014 Iron Dog Pro Class. Racers will race down the Iron Dog Chute, onto a marked course, and make their way back down the Chute to Finish. All Iron Pup Racers will receive a Trophy, an Iron Pup T-Shirt, and a Prize Bag on Race Day. Additional Awards will be given out to top 3 Racers in each class!! Classes are 120 Stock, 120 Improved, and 120 Modified. We are also offering a Participation Class for those Riders who aren’t quite ready to race on their own Machine. This class allows the Child to ride on the same sled as an Adult and feel the excitement of Racing down the Iron Dog Chute and to be a part of the Iron Dog!! These participants will also receive a Trophy, T-Shirt and Prize Bag!! Entry for Iron Pup is $20 Safety Gear is required for all 120 Racers.
