On August 30, 2013 the Big Lake Community lost another, cherished resident, Mr. Scott Mueller. As many of you know, Scott was aviation enthusiast and true Alaskan. He had been hunting with his son and nephew when his plane went down. Scott Mueller is survived by his wife, Ina and their children.
The Mueller Family has long been a valued presence in our community and losing Scott has affected many. Scott and Ina have both been an integral part of having contributed to Community Council, Big Lake Trails, and the Big Lake Chamber of Commerce.
Each of us are blessed to live in a community in which the loss of one of our own is deeply felt. It is in moments of such turmoil that we are empowered with an opportunity to come together and strengthen the unity within our community.
